Rename a camera (Android, iOS)

You can rename a camera in the Cameras section on all the tabs: All cameras, Favorites, Camera groups.

Upon renaming, the camera name is synchronized across all VMS clients.

To rename a camera, follow the steps:

  1. Select a camera and tap the context menu icon(⋮).

  2. From the opened panel, select an option:

  • Rename a camera.

  • Camera settings > Rename camera.

  1. In the Camera name field, edit the name. The name should be up to 50 characters.

  2. To complete renaming, select Rename.
