The Desktop Local installation requires the Internet connection to download an additional software – Framework .NET Desktop Runtime version 8.0 is required.
Desktop Local can be installed without .NET. You can install .NET at any time after that.
If you're not connected to the Internet, you'll see the following error message when trying to install Desktop Local.

Use one of the following buttons to perform an action:

Abort – to cancel installation and delete installed files.

Retry – to retry connection.

Ignore – to finish installation without .Net. Selecting Ignore initiates the following message:

In this case, select Ignore to skip downloading .Net and continue with Desktop Local installation.
Once Desktop Local is installed, download and install a relevant version of .Net.
